Inspired by her love of fantasy and folklore, local artist Joy Norman presents a collection of her intriguing handmade paper works and assemblages. This captivatingly curious display features spiky sea creatures, dragonets, fascinating fossils and fragile vessels. Reminiscent of fossilised archaeological finds or ancient treasures, these objects evoke dreamlike memories of times gone by. Joy has developed her mixed media style over the years. She uses recycled papers, textiles, natural forms and a myriad of pre-loved ephemera, which may be combined with paint and stitch.
